Since June 2023, Kalman Hafner, a long-established casting house in Germany with clients around the world, has been offering casting services using various Fairtrade and Fairmined gold alloys. The alloys are pre-supplied by Fairever, making it a seamless, one-step ordering process for Kalman Hafner’s clients.
This partnership has successfully closed a long-standing gap in the industry: jewelry makers can now have their pieces professionally cast in larger quantities without compromising on material ethics. It enables large-scale manufacturers to transition to a sustainable and socially responsible production model, supporting better environmental and labor conditions in gold mining communities.
