At Fairever, it’s never just about selling gold. It’s about values – and about living up to the responsibility that comes with them. That’s why Desirée, one of our managing directors, spent the past few months contributing to something bigger than any single company.
She joined the steering group of the Forum for Responsible Gold, an initiative by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The goal? To rethink the gold sector with fairness in mind and help build transparent, responsible supply chains step by step.
The result is now live:
The platform is for anyone working with gold or interested in the supply chain – businesses, vocational schools, and consumers alike.
It offers:
- Consolidated knowledge on the challenges of gold mining
- Free educational materials for schools and training institutions
- Insight into a growing network of change-makers
- Practical recommendations for anyone who wants to take action

Why this matters to Fairever
At Fairever, we believe real change doesn’t start with a product – it starts with the people behind it. Working with fair gold is one step. But helping shape policy and education around it? That’s when things start to move.
Desirée’s involvement in the forum reflects our values. Fairever stands not just for certified gold, but also for transparency, respectful dialogue, and a genuine drive to make things better. The platform helps more people understand the issues behind gold – and shows how much is possible when we work together.

What this means for our customers
Being part of this project says a lot about who we are. At Fairever, we don’t just talk about ethical gold – we help build the systems behind it.
For you as our customer, that means you’re not just buying certified gold. You’re part of something bigger. Something built on real commitment and a willingness to share knowledge.
This new forum is a great addition to what we do every day. It gives you the opportunity to explore the topic further – whether you work with gold, resell it, or simply want to know more.
